Stampin’ Up! So Very Merry Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! So Very Merry stamp set from the Online Exclusives to create a Christmas card to share with you today.  This stamp set should be back in stock in late July!  I made this project out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.

Stampin' Up! So Very Merry Christmas Card

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #594.

I started by adhering a panel of One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ DSP (Online Exclusive item, restocking around July 24) to a panel of Old Olive card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a strip of Champagne paper from the More Dazzle 6″ x 6″ Specialty Paper pack to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the So Very Merry photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item, restocking around July 31) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Old Olive card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut around the sentiment with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I cut another panel of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered both circle die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the Santa image from the So Very Merry stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the images with Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Real Red and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the skin images with the Light Combo Pack Stampin’ Blends and then punched the image out with the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch.  I adhered the punched image with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three white gems from the Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and branch images from the So Very Merry Christmas stamp set in Real Red and Tuxedo Black Memento inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I colored the branch image from the Old Olive and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers and added a strip of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP to finish the inside of the card.
