Stampin’ Up! Inked & Tiled Hello Friend Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Inked & Tiled  stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Inked & Tiled Hello Friend Card

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I cut a panel of Lost Lagoon card stock two times with the larger leaf die from the Gorgeously Made Dies and then adhered both die cuts to the front of the Lost Lagoon card base with Stampin’ Seal (placed under the area where the focal panel will be located).  Then I adhered a panel of Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ DSP to a panel of Lost Lagoon card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to the front of the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Inked Botanical DSP with one of the Nested Essentials Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on a panel of Basic White card stock panel.  I colored the flower stamp from the Inked & Tiled stamp set with Crushed Curry and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Write Markers and then stamped it on the Basic White panel near the sentiment.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the Nested Essentials Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added two Calypso Coral gems from the Iridescent Pastel Gems to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Inked Botanical DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
