I used the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions stamp set bundle to create my card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP426.

I started by adhering a panel of Softly Stippled DSP (Sale-a-bration item) to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the flower and hummingbird images from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set on a panel of Basic White card stock in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I colored the images with Light and Dark Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Lemon Lolly and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Thoughtful Expressions Dies.  I adhered the two flower die cuts with Mini Glue Dots to the DSP panel.

I cut a panel of Old Olive card stock with the three leaf dies from the Thoughtful Expressions Dies and then adhered the die cut leaves to the DSP panel with Mini Glue Dots.  I stamped the sentiment from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Lemon Lolly card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered the die cut sentiment with Mini Glue Dots to the DSP panel.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the DSP panel two times and tied a bow.  Then I adhered the DSP panel to the front of a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the humming bird with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two of the Opaque Faceted Gems (Sale-a-bration item) to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Softly Stippled DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
