Stampin’ Up! Hot Air Balloon Lift You Up Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hot Air Balloon stamp set bundle to create an encouragement card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch challenge for Sunday Stamps SSC326.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by adhering a panel of Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Bubble Bath card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I embossed a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Basics 3D Embossing folders (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the embossed panel to another panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of Sunny Days DSP (Sale-a-bration item) with one of the Radiating Stitches Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then adhered the die cut panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Bright Skies Dies two times and adhered the die cut clouds to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I stamped the hot air balloon images from the Hot Air Balloon photopolymer stamp set in Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Crumb Cake inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I cut the images out with the coordinating Hot Air Balloon Dies.  I adhered the die cut balloon images with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  Then I cut a panel of Lost Lagoon paper from the Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper with the flag die from the Hot Air Balloon Dies.  I adhered the die cut to the balloon with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Hot Air Balloon stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Labels Aglow Dies.  I slid the die over about 1/2″, lined up the dots and then cut the end of the sentiment to shorten it a bit.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Lighter Than Air DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
