I used the cute Safari Smiles stamp set bundle from Stampin’ Up! to create a hello card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel right here.
I started by embossing a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I cut panels of Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Gray, Gray Granite and Golden Glow card stock with the rock, shrub and grass dies from the Safari Smiles Dies. I adhered the die cut pieces to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. Then I cut a panel of Pool Party card stock with the water die from the Safari Smiles Dies. I adhered the water die cut to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.
I stamped the elephant and bird images from the Safari Smiles stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the images with Light Gray Granite, Smoky Slate and Golden Glow and Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used the Color Lifter to lighten the bird images and then cut the images with the coordinating Safari Smiles Dies.
I adhered the bird die cuts with Mini Glue Dots and the elephant die cuts with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Safari Smiles stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Petal Pink card stock and then cut around it with the banner die from the Fragrant Layers Dies. I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.
I stamped the footprint image from the Safari Smiles stamp set in Crumb Cake ink across the bottom of a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
