I used the Stampin’ Up! Everyday Tags and Sweet Cupcake stamp sets to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today. We’ve got a sketch challenge and this is what I created for it.
Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:
I started by adhering a panel from the Tasty Treats Specialty DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL. I adhered a Whisper White card stock square to a Chocolate Chip card stock square and then to the DSP panel with SNAIL.
I stamped the sentiment from the Everyday Tags stamp set in Chocolate Chip ink on a panel of the Tasty Treats DSP and then cut it out with a Layering Circles Framelits die. I adhered the stamped DSP to a scalloped circle that I’d cut from Chocolate Chip card stock with another Layering Circles Framelits die and then to the card front with SNAIL. I wrapped a strand of Blushing Bride Solid Baker’s Twine around the panel, tied a bow and then adhered the layered panel to a Chocolate Chip card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the frosting images from the Sweet Cupcake photopolymer stamp set in Watermelon Wonder, Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride inks and I cut it out with the matching Cupcake Cutouts Framelits Dies. I stamped the cupcake base images from the Sweet Cupcake stamp set in Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake inks and I cut it out with the matching Cupcake Cutouts Framelits Dies. I adhered the two die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I added two Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a Blushing Bride enamel dot from the Subtles Enamel Shapes pack around the sentiment to finish the card front.
I stamped the candle images from the Sweet Cupcake stamp set in Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride and Daffodil Delight inks and then added the sentiment in Chocolate Chip ink on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.
