I used the Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt stamp set bundle to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using today:

I started by cutting two panels from the From My Heart Specialty DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered  both panels to a Real Red card base with SNAIL.

I punched the ends of strips of Flirty Flamingo, Real Red and Whisper White card stocks with the Banner Triple Punch and then embossed the Flirty Flamingo banner with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and the Whisper White banner with Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder and the 3D Embossing Folder Plate.  I stamped the small heart image from the Heartfelt photopolymer stamp set in Real Red ink on the Real Red banner and then adhered all three banners to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and punched it out with one of the Heart Punch Pack punches. I adhered the heart to one of the Real Red Heart Doilies with SNAIL and then to the card front  with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added one of the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of the From My Heart DSP to a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

New Blog Email Delivery Service!

I have switched to a new email delivery service for my blog since I’d heard from several people that they suddenly stopped receiving my blog posts via email.  That started yesterday so hopefully everyone that wants to get my posts is now getting them via email!!

I am hearing from some subscribers that they stopped receiving the emails with the new subscription service.  It is primarily people who subscribed through their WordPress accounts.  In order to avoid sending duplicate emails to subscribers, we needed to turn off the WordPress generated emails.  So if you are subscribed to me through WordPress and want to get my daily posts via email rather than logging into your accounts to view them, click the button below and complete the email subscription and verification through Feedblitz and they’ll start arriving again!

Sorry for the inconvenience!  Trying to get blog emails to arrive in inboxes in todays world with all of the filtering done at the email server level is really difficult!!  Let me know if you have questions or trouble subscribing via the new service.  🙂
