Simply Wonderful Mini Treat Bag - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #107.

Screen Shot 2015-01-28 at 4.07.55 PMI started by stamping the sentiment from the Simply Wonderful stamp set (Sale-A-Bration item) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the little row of hearts image from the You Brighten My Day stamp set (Sale-A-Bration item) in Real Red ink under the sentiment, using my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement.  Then I embossed the stamped panel with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder.

Simply Wonderful 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL, then adhered a smaller panel of Basic Black card stock and a panel from the Stacked With Love DSP stack over the embossed panel, using SNAIL to adhere the layers.  I wrapped a strand of Gold Baker’s Twine around the panel and tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Simply Wonderful 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut a two hearts from a different panel of the Stacked With Love DSP pack and one heart from Gold Foil Sheets with the heart dies from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies set.  I adhered the gold heart to the larger heart and the smaller heart to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and I adhered the larger heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Simply Wonderful - Stamp With Amy K

I punched a heart from another sheet from the Stacked With Love DSP Stack with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack punch and I adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to complete the card front.

You Brighten My Day - Stamp With Amy K

I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the heart images from the You Brighten My Day stamp set on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies - Stamp With Amy K

For the treat bag, I cut the main pieces with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies from the Stacked with Love DSP Stack.  I had to cut the right side from two pieces of DSP (since a single piece isn’t wide enough) and I just adhered them together at the seam, the same way that the left side is adhered.  Before adhering the back of the bag together, I used the row of hearts die to cut the hearts across the top of the bag.  I used Sticky Strip to adhere the bag together, I find that to be the fastest and easiest adhesive for this project.

Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut the banner with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits die from the Stacked With Love DSP Stack.  I adhered a heart that I’d cut from Real Red card stock with the die from the Treat Bag set with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I punched an arrow from Gold Foil Sheets with the What’s Up Punch, snipped it in half, then adhered the pieces with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the heart.

I cut the sentiment out with the die from the Treat Bag set from Stacked With Love DSP and I adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue over the heart.  I clipped the banner and a strand of Gold Sequins to the bag with a Mini Metallic Clothespin, then adhered a few random hearts with Multipurpose Liquid Glue that I’d cut from Gold Foil Sheets with the heart die from the Treat Bag Set.

Blog Candy!!

Alright, now for the blog candy…I’ve got a blog candy package featuring paper!  One lucky person will receive the Stacked With Love DSP Stack, a Large Kraft Grid Journal and the Fresh Prints DSP Stack (retired)!!

  6. Ohhhh! So hard to pick a favorite. I am torn between the Blooming Butterflies and the mini bow punch. The Butterflies win though, such a versatile stamp set and the framelits are icing on the cake.

  9. It would be so much easier to tell you which “stamp” I didn’t like, since I don’t have one. I will tell you I love all the stamps I have purchased. For Sale-A-Bration, I will pick Sheltering Tree. My goodness four seasons in one box and so much to do with them, how could you not love that!! You can stamp all day with this set and come up with something new each time. Thanks Stampin’ Up for this fun stamp.

My FAVE Occasion catalog product is the Cheerful Critters stamp set. So much fun!!!

  16. Such a pretty card and mini-bag! There are so many items from which to choose but I’m going to say the Painted Petals stamp set because I love anything floral. Thank you for the chance at winning some blog candy.

  17. From the first time I looked at the catalog and everytime since, which I might add has been probably 100 times, it has been Love is Kindness. Planning on using it for my many March birthdays! Thnaks Amy for all that you do for us.

  18. I really like your card and treat bag. Very nice, Amy. The mini treat bag die is my favorite right now. I also like the butterfly dies and the Painted Petals Stamp set.

  19. Great projects! Love the patterned paper! Perfect for backgrounds. I am in love with the Butterfly Basics Bundle! So many fantastic options in one set!

  20. Love your duo today Amy! You always have the best details that add so much to your creations. I was looking at the supplies you used and had to go back to look at the arrow – awesome 😉

My favorite from the Occasions catty is the Butterfly Basics bundle. Love the butterfly framelit and the elegant “Happy Birthday” sentiment. I’ve used just that several times already. Thanks for the opportunity to win blog candy 🙂

  21. Pretty muched everything in the Occasions Catalog, but my favorite is the Butterfly Bundle. I’m waiting for mine to arrive next week. Yay!

  22. Your card and the treat bag are beautiful. There are so many wonderful things but I think my overall favorite is the butterfly bundle.

  23. these are great. I especially like the way you used the hearts on the side. Nice finish. So many great things in the new catalog. so far, I have collected a few but still haven’t had a chance to play with them. Think the first will have to be the pretty butterflies.

  24. I wasn’t excited about the Stacked With Love stack when I first saw it in the catalog, but after receiving some sheets in a paper share and then using it for my Valentine’s cards, I now absolutely love it! You used it beautifully!

  25. The Mini Treatbag Thinlits Dies are my Occasions catalog favorite with the mini bow punch running a close second.

  26. Hi Amy! First off I want to tell you that I look forward to your morning posts, so inspiring!! Love the card and treat bag, too cute!!! So difficult to pick a favorite! I think I would have to pick sheltering tree, although I am loving everything! Thanks for the chance at some awesome blog candy! Have a sparkling day!!

  27. I love how you used the gold foil on your projects today-they really add some flair! Too many wonderful choices to pick a favorite but… I do love the Hello Life set!

  28. The butterfly bundle is my favorite item in the Occasions catalog. I love your creations, Amy, I’ve CASEd a lot of them.

  29. The Butterflies Thinlits dies are my favorite new product! They are perfect for so many occasions. Thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy.

  30. Hi, Amy. I think that my favorite item from the occasions catalog is the butterfly bundle. It is lovely. On the other hand, the DSP you used for your card and mini treat bag is just beautiful. I could see it becoming my new favorite! I just love your pink and your hearts and just everything! Thank you so much for the fabulous projects! They are a real treat!

  31. I think the golden hearts add such sparkle! Thanks for sharing these cute ideas with us. My current favorite item in the catalog is the Four Frames bundle, with the coordinating punch. The art on these stamps is so cute, there is a nice variety of four designs to choose from, the punch makes it quick and easy to cut out the labels, and there is a nice spot for adding sentiments. Thanks for the opportunity to enter, and best wishes to everyone!

  32. Love the coordinating card and treat bag set! Thanks for sharing! So many cool things to choose from . . . two of my favorite items are the Lotus Blossom and the Sheltering Tree stamp sets.

  33. I love both of your projects!! My favorite is the mini treat bag. I’ve made about two dozen of them so far for my son’s teachers and my friends. It’s so quick to make and brightens everyone’s day.

  34. Great projects – what fun cheery colors! My favorite item from the occasions catalog is the Hello Life Project kit, but there are so many wonderful items this year that it’s pretty hard to choose!

  35. There are so many wonderful new things in the occasions catalog it is hard to choose… With being able to only pick one I will say the sheltering tree stamp set. There was a old stamp set I tried many times to get on ebay but lost. So I did the happy dance when I saw this set. Love your two projects today especially the card!!

  36. Amy, You are such an inspiration to me. I don’t believe you’ve made even one card that I”m not crazy about. As for my favorite item from the new Occasions catalog, is there a box to check EVERYTHING? I love the new bow punch and think I will be doing my best to wear it out. I hope I am the lucky one who wins your Blog Candy cuz the paper is sooooooo pretty. Thank you!
