Stampin’ Up! In The Pines With Merry Moose Christmas Card

I used the Stampin Up! In The Pines and Merry Moose stamp set bundles to create a Christmas card to share with you today.  Those bundles are both awesome on their own but they are doubly awesome together!! 🙂

Quick Update:  We’re STILL without power at our house.  We are hearing that it will likely be restored at some point today or possibly tomorrow.  Keep your fingers crossed for us that it’s today.  All that I can say is thank goodness for unlimited data on my cell phone plan!  😉

My card was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP252.

I started by lightly tapping my Crumb Cake ink pad across the center of the Buffalo Check stamp.  I used a Sponge Dauber and Crumb Cake ink to blend the “sharp” edges from the ink pad and then stamped it on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.  I stamped the tree image from the In The Pines photopolymer stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink and the sentiment in Soft Suede ink on the Crumb Cake card stock panel.

I cut two trees from Shaded Spruce card stock with dies from the Pine woods Dies and then adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.  I trimmed the excess from the tree die cut with my Paper Snips so that it was even with the edge of the Crumb Cake panel and then adhered the panel to a panel of Soft Suede card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Shaded Spruce card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the moose image from the Merry Moose photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Stampn’ Blends Markers.  I punched the moose image out with the coordinating Moose Punch and adhered it with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added Snowflake Adhesive Backed Embellishments to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the tree image from the In The Pines stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink and the sentiment from the Merry Moose stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

I’ve created a printable PDF with written instructions and a list of products used to create this card.  You can download, print and/or save it by clicking this image:

  1. Great woodsy card…..the pines are on my next order! Been wondering about your power….my friend in Rye, NY has no power yet either…..no power is the worst!

    • Thanks Linda! I just can’t believe that such a minor storm could take out the power for for 4 days+! It’s crazy to me!!
