Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays” theme and I’m featuring the Peaceful Deer stamp set and Deer Builder Punch for my project.
My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #618.
I started by stamping the tree images from the Peaceful Deer photopolymer stamp set in Soft Succulent ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. Some of the images were stamped full strength and others were stamped off once. Then I stamped the snow image from the Peaceful Deer stamp set in Pool Party ink repeatedly across the Basic White panel. I embossed the panel with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered it to another panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the deer image from the Peaceful Deer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I punched the deer image out with the coordinating Deer Builder Punch and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Deer stamp set in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with silver embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it. I cut around the sentiment with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added three of the Festive Pearls to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment and tree images from the Peaceful Deer stamp set in Soft Succulent ink on Basic White card stock. Then I stamped the deer image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the panel and colored it with Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
