Stampin’ Up! Textured Floral Birthday Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Textured Floral stamp set bundle to create a birthday card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Stampin' Up! Textured Floral Birthday Card

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC309.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the crosshatch folder from the Basics Embossing Folders (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the branch die from the Textured Floral Dies three times.  I adhered the die cut branches to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Textured Floral photopolymer stamp set in Berry Burst, Lemon Lolly, Blueberry Bushel and Gray Granite inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  ***Quick Tip:  If you get bubbly images when you use a DisINKtive stamp with an overly inky ink pad, tap the image on the ink pad and then use a Sponge Dauber to tap over the entire surface of the stamp to even out the ink before stamping.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Textured Floral Dies and then adhered the die cuts with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Textured Floral stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three Blueberry Bushel gems from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack to finish the card front.
