I used the Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest stamp set and coordinating Apple Blossom Dies (on the Clearance Rack for $14!!) to create my card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

I started by adhering panels of Glorious Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Pecan Pie card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front three times and tied a small bow.  I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Countryside Corners Dies and then used a Blending Brush to add Pool Party ink to it.  I adhered the die cut panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the apple image from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Poppy Parade, Lemon Lime Twist and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I used the Color Lifter to lighten the apples just a bit.  Then I cut the image out with the coordinating Apple Blossoms Dies (Clearance Rack item available while supplies last) and adhered it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Apple Blossoms Dies.  I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Seal to the card front and then cut panels of Lemon Lime Twist, Petal Pink and Basic White card stocks with the blossom and leaves dies from the Apple Blossoms Dies.

I added a touch of Petal Pink ink to the center of each blossom with a Sponge Dauber and then adhered the blossoms together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  I added an Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewel to the center of each blossom to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Glorious Gingham DSP to the bottom of a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

Sales Tax Holidays Coming Soon – Save On Stampin’ Up! Supplies!

Woohoo!  Twelve states are having Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!

The states with upcoming tax holidays are:  Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia.  So if you live in one of those states, take a second to download the spreadsheet below and mark your calendar!
