This new Cupcake Party stamp set from Stampin’ Up! is so cute! I love this sentiment, it fits for a birthday or for one of those cupcake kind of days. I seem to have those a lot. 🙂

I just got this fun new set from Stampin’ Up! called Big News. It’s got some great sentiments for birthdays, weddings, babies and thank you notes! I was trying to make this a more gender neutral birthday card and I had to stop myself several times from pulling out the Melon Mambo ink…I was afraid that would make it too girly, but I think this card would look great with Melon Mambo replacing the Old Olive too. 🙂
My card design was inspired by the Stamping and Blogging SB59 Sketch. Be sure to stop by the other design team members blogs (linked below) see their fabulous creations!
Since I’m impatiently waiting for all of my new Stampin’ Up! goodies to arrive, I’ve been trying to play with some of the fun new things that I do have from the 2014-15 Catalog! 🙂 Today I used the Sea Street stamp set to create a card inspired by the Stamping and Blogging SB58 Sketch. I thought that I’d show you an easy way to use the Stampin’ Up! circle punches to create a fun birthday card. My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #77, which was perfect to showcase the layered embossing technique!
I thought that it was time to play with another one of the sneak peek stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! today. This stamp set is called Sea Street and there is some fantastic designer paper in the new 2014-15 Annual Catalog called Maritime that goes great with this set!
I finally got my big box of new stuff from Stampin’ Up! on Wednesday afternoon and (of course) I had a school meeting that ran an hour late so it was after 9 PM when I was finally able to get my paws on my new stamps! I made a quick card to share today with the new Sea Street stamp set and Maritime DSP. I started playing with my new Blendabilities last night and I’ve got a card ready to share using those tomorrow. 🙂

We’ve got several birthday parties coming up for my daughters friends so I pulled out the stamp from the Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit and a little Birthday Basics DSP from Stampin’ Up! and I went to work. The Freshly Made Sketches #131 sketch made for a quick and easy card!
One quick announcement before I get to my card, I’m trying to “clean up” the bar that runs along the side of my blog. One of the things that I’ve done is move all of the new or not in any of the catalogs items to their own page. I’ve added a click button on the side of my blog that says, “What’s new at Stampin’ Up!” and I’ve got a page tab at the top named the same thing. When you click on either one, you’ll see a list of all of those items. So now they’re going to be all in one spot! Hope that helps you to find the things that you need. Let me know if you have any comments or suggestions. 🙂
I’ve been having some fun making cards with the Starburst Sayings stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I saw this card made by Mary Jo Price-Williams and thought that it was such a cool way to use the sentiment, so I had to give it a try too! My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 336.
I used the Zoo Babies stamp set to create a little boy birthday card to share with you today. My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #105 and my colors were inspired by The Paper Players #186.
When I saw the Dynamic Duos #93 colors this week, I immediately thought of spring and Easter. So I pulled out my favorite little bunny image from the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Baby, We’ve Grown and I went to work stamping bunnies and flowers to create a treat holder for Easter goodies.
