I decided to do something a little flowery to share with you all on Mother’s Day.  I created this card using two Stampin’ Up! stamp sets that will be retiring in a few weeks, Build a Blossom and Tiny Tags.

Today I’m sharing a card that I made with the new In Colors from Stampin’ Up! and the Make a Cake stamp set.  My card design was inspired by the CAS-ual Friday 100 Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  The challenge is to use all of the items in any row to create a clean and simple card.  I chose the diagonal line with Birthday, Bling and Punches or Dies.

The Open Sea in Smoky Slate and Baked Brown Sugar

Today I’m sharing a card that I made with the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called The Open Sea.  I’m also giving you another sneak peek at some new colors…Smoky Slate and Baked Brown Sugar.  I distressed and sponged everything on this card!  And I had to take a deep breath before I allowed myself to tear a chunk of card stock off the top, I’m usually far to obsessed with getting things exactly right to just rip a piece off….but I’m learning to let go.  🙂

Blog Candy!!  Don’t forget to leave a comment on my blog post from yesterday to be entered to win blog candy.  Click here to go to the post and leave a comment.  I’ll be announcing the winners tomorrow morning.

The card design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches #85.

Goodbye to Beautiful Birthday and Distressed Dots…Hello Simply Pressed Clay!

It’s getting close to retirement time for the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Birthday and Distressed Dots stamps, but we get to say “hello” to a fantastic new embellishment, Simply Pressed Clay.  This stuff is so cool, you can add ink to dye it, use the new Buttons & Blossoms molds to shape it or press a stamp into the clay to create a one-of-a-kind embellishment!  Just knead the ink in, press it into the mold or shape that you want, pop it into the freezer for about 20 minutes, then pop the clay out of the mold and let it dry completely.  I used the clay and a little bit of Pool Party ink to create the three flowers on my card.

My card design was inspired by the Mojo Monday 291 Sketch.
