I used one of my favorite new Stampin’ Up! stamps to create the background for my card today. I inked up the Hardwood stamp and the Harvest Blessings tractor image to make a masculine birthday card for the Freshly Made Sketches 120.
Sassy Salutations
Petal Parade & Sweet Sorbet Sneak Peeks – Stampin’ Up!
I used two of the items that will be available for free from Stampin’ Up! during Sale-a-bration to create my card today. Sale-a-bration starts on Jan 28, this is a fabulous time of year when Stampin’ Up! lets you pick a free item for every $50 in merchandise that you purchase!
Just in case you were wondering, the merchandise shown on the first 9 pages of the Sale-a-bration Brochure is just to provide you with examples of how you can reach a $50 order and what you can create with the items in the bundle. You aren’t required to purchase those items to be able to pick the free products. The $50 merchandise total can be anything that is currently available in either of the catalogs or in the online store. Let me know if you have any questions about that. And let me know if you need a Sale-a-bration brochure or either of the current catalogs. I’m happy to send them to you!
Banner Blast with Sassy Salutations – Stampin’ Up!
I used one of the new Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration stamp sets called Banner Blast along with Sassy Salutations to create a birthday card for Mojo Monday 324 to share with you today. I also used some of the new Fresh Prints DSP Stack from the 2014 Occasions Catalog, I’m loving all of the new Designer Series Paper! So many pretty colors and prints.

Stamp With Amy K Turns One Year Old Today!! Blog Candy Weekend To Celebrate!!
Wow, I can’t believe it…my blog turns one year old today! When I first started blogging I gave myself six months and I’d see what happened. Well, I’ve been overwhelmed with your positive response to my little stamping blog. You have all been so supportive, like my own little stamping family. And I can’t say thank you enough for following along on this journey. 🙂
I do have a quick birthday card and some blog candy to share but first I though that it would be fun to share a few of my blog stats with you:
- My blog has been viewed over 174,000 (wow…thank you!!)
- I’ve posted 371 blog entries (apparently I talk too much!!)
- You all have left me almost 2000 comments (wow again…thank you again!!)
- Over 800 of you follow along with my blog on a daily basis (wow, wow, wow!!)
And just for fun, I thought that I’d show you my very first card. My blogging style has changed a lot since then (and so have my photography skills!). If you want to see my very first post, click here.

I thought that I’d also show you your favorite card (based on the number of times it has been viewed) that I’ve posted. This is one of my favorites too! If you want to see the original blog post, click here.

Alright, enough about my blog…here is a quick birthday card that I made with the Sassy Salutations stamp set and a Pretty Presents Designer Bow from Stampin’ Up! I made a card a few weeks ago with one of these bows and mentioned that it looked like Minnie Mouse. I finally made a Minnie Mouse card to share with you.
Baby Prints Thank You Cards
I made these thank you cards for my daughter who just had a birthday. She loves finger painting and when I saw the CAS(E) This Sketch #48, I knew exactly what I was going to do. I pulled out the Baby Prints and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! and I went to work to create some clean and simple cards that were easy to reproduce.
CAS I Am Me Birthday Card
Hope that you were all able to send some pictures to Stampin’ Up! for World Card Making Day yesterday. Good luck to everyone who entered!
I pulled out some of the I Am Me DSP from Stampin’ Up! to create my card share for today. The Freshly Made Sketches #106 was a clean and simple design so I thought some layers of the DSP would work perfectly for a masculine birthday card.
Envelope Punch Board Money Holder Tutorial & New Everyday Occasions Cardmaking Kit
After making the long narrow card that I shared with you yesterday, the idea to create a money holder card using the Envelope Punch Board popped into my head. I created a holiday and a birthday version and I’m sharing a quick tutorial showing you the size and scoring points. I’m putting this out on my Tutorials page as well so that you can find it back quickly when you need it.
My holiday money holder card front was inspired by Retrosketches #82 and I used the Very Merry Tags and Wishing You stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create it.
CAS Congratulations Cards
Today I’m sharing two clean and simple congratulations cards that I made with the Sassy Salutations and Best of Butterflies stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! The Sassy Salutations stamp set is on sale at 25% off until June 30 so if you haven’t already purchased this great stamp set, now is a great time to do it!
My cards were inspired by the CAS-ual Fridays CFC103 Congratulations Challenge.
Epic Day Meets Sassy Salutations
Today I’m sharing a card that I created using the Sassy Salutations stamp set and the Epic Day This and That DSP and Washi Tape from Stampin’ Up! My card design was inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #158.
Don’t forget that today is last day to order the Epic Day This and That Bundle and save 15%. The items will be for sale individually in the new catalog, but you can only get the discounted bundle right now. Click here to see the Epic Day This and That products in my online store.
