Today I’m sharing a card that I made using three colors from a color challenge on Split Coast Stampers. The challenge was to use Baja Breeze, Calypso Coral and Basic Black. I used the Just Believe stamp set from Stampin’ Up! for the flower images.

Stampin’ Up! Color Refresh
Stampin’ Up! announced they they will be doing a color refresh for the 2013-14 Annual Catalog. Here are the changes to the core colors:
Beginning today, April 4, 2013, all retiring/discontinued color products (i.e. ink, paper, ribbon, accessories, etc.) will be available only while supplies last. This means that some products will not be available through the retired list period (which begins April 24 and runs through June 3, 2013). Get your favorites this weekend while shipping is FREE (April 6 – 8)!

I pulled out a few items from the Stampin’ Up! Spring Catalog that I haven’t used for awhile for this card. Teeny Tiny Wishes Happy Retirement Card
I needed a Happy Retirement card for a good friend who’s retiring from the fire department after 36 years of service! My card was inspired by the Mojo Monday 287 Sketch. I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Teeny Tiny Wishes for the sentiment, but that was the only stamping on the card. I let the DSP do most of the work on this one and I really had to stop myself from making this too girly, I didn’t think he’d appreciate a card with lots of flowers and doilies. 🙂

All Dressed Up Birthday Card
Today I’m sharing a quick birthday card that I made for my niece. I used the Stampin’ Up! Pop ‘n Cuts Card Base and Dress Form and the Dress Up Framelits dies to create this card. Cutting and assembling with the Pop ‘n Cuts dies is so easy and so much fun!
